I must be frank here, I have really grown to detest American Christianity, and abhor the cultist teachings infecting each crop of new believers in countries overseas. Especially child abusers like Ted Tripp, Michael and Debi Pearl, Ren. Bradley, et al. The worst practices and heresies are touted. Missionaries do incredible damage, and all stems from the neocolonial attitudes of American preachers and teacher. They still justify genocide and slavery, for one. Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills personifies that with the teachings of Jack Hibbs. He is an open Fascist,a Christian Nationalist. Has a radio program, Reality Radio. Interesting speaker, yet a creep.

“ Missionaries do incredible damage, and all stems from the neocolonial attitudes of American preachers and teacher. ”. That is an offensive generalisation. I served overseas for 34+ years and was very aware of cultural differences, as were so many other of my missionary friends and co-workers. Our hearts were set on serving and loving God and the men, women, children He set before us. We were very aware that OUR culture was not Christ’s culture. LOVE is the culture of God. We served with TB medications purchased for children whose parent could never afforded it, children with clefts lips repaired, malnourished children fed, mothers rescued from abusive situations, children that were trafficked rescued, church services especially designed for learning disabled people, and more ….all by missionaries who loved the people that God set before them. Making generalities is as ignorant as what you accuse others of.
