Praying a rosary? Hmmm… I’d have to leave out the “hail Marys” but the author makes a case……
Another list of good ponders….. Thank you …..
I use an Anglican rosary…not clear on the difference between it and a Catholic one. I notice that mine has a Cross.
Swinging Pastors? Well, I guess Jerry Falwell, Jr. can just sit back and watch.
GFA. This feels so far in the rear view mirror I can no longer recall much of the reporting. I do remember the sense that micro loans likely constituted a substantial portion of revenue. Essentially similar to our pay day loan outlets.
I also came to believe GFA functioned with a tacit approval from our government. Again, this puts them into a legal limbo category like Jeffery Epstein and his allowance to operate.
Still sticking to my allegation that this appears to be the greatest Evangelical fraud.
I’m putting a prayer request out … My daughter and her family live in Hawaii. Hawaii is the only state NOT Having a surge in Coronovirus cases. My Son-in-law’s parents are Christians who live in Texas. Today they flew from Texas to Hawaii to see their grandson (10 mos. old) for the very first time. They had to get Covid tests to fly, the tests were late coming back and they had to reschedule their flight to Hawaii to a flight a few days later waitingvfor the test results. The airlines accepted the late results covid tests, but they just now landed in Honolulu and the state won’t accept the late Covid virus tests and won’t let them leave the airport. One can argue they never should have tried to fly to Hawaii in the midst of a pandemic, but they only have one child and they have never met their grandson ( he’s now walking already!). My son-in-law is in the Army, and the Army has discouraged their members from flying anywhere unnecessarily. I saw my grandson when he was first born as I flew to Hawaii and stayed for all of February. I reurned home just one week before the U.S. quarantined in March. My husband hasn’t been able to meet this new grandson, either. yet! Please pray that something will work out and that they will be able to meet my grandson somehow before my daughter’s in-laws have to return to Texas. This Coronovirus separation from young ( and newly born) grandchildren is just heartbreaking for those of us who waited so many years for grandchildren and now we can’t even see them. Please pray for my grandson’s other grandparents in Honolulu and for their safe return to Texas and that God would guide them!
Bride of Christ,
Prayed and praying.
Blessings!
Praying here, too
What a painful and harassing ordeal…. Father of grace and mercy be to this family a grantor of prayers
Regarding the virus, the kids’ mom is taking them to her parents’ for thanksgiving. That’s 6 people there. One brother is bringing his family from out of town, 5 people. 6+5+3+=14 in a small home all day. I am invited, but I’ll remain home by myself and the dog. I’ll get the kids for the weekend.
Thanks for the birthday greetings, my friend. Good mix of links, by the way.
