Here’s how to solve the Christian Nationalism debate. For a Christian nationalism is heresy. We are citizens of the kingdom of God and we have no sovereign but Christ. Nationalism is a denial of Christian faith. So let’s get busy working that out ethically and morally.
Alan,
I agree, as you know.
However , how do we convince the evangelical pastors and the “prophets” that are teaching their people the opposite?
My point is to simplify the argument for clarity. All forms of nationalism, American, Russian, Jewish, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean… all are heretical to the faith of Christ. When our nation becomes an ism it is also an idol.
A new discussion needs to be enjoined. We should stop gracing nationalism with the modifier Christian. Simply curse the root to kill the fruit.

I shall have to pursue this story. Praise God!
Now let’s ordain her to preach …smile.
So Target really did this? “Pride Adult Drag Queen ‘Bible Girl 666’ Short Sleeve T-Shirt.”
I think that’s appropriate; antichrist wear that is accurately associated and advertised.
What you see is what you get. I always look at Michael’s links expecting his tagline to be the title of the article. The real title was good enough.
Alan,
I’m usually the last to pay heed to boycotts or Christians having their hair on fire about cultural issues…but this is truly repugnant.
I rarely buy from them anyway, but will not buy anything from here forward…the scary part is that they must believe there is a market for such filth.
The little video on “anointing” is gold…

Looks like you’re feeling better. Lots of posts!
Good on ya
Officerhoppy,
I wish…this took me over two days to finish.
I try to get stuff done right after the oxy kicks in and before I forget what I’m doing… 🙂
I searched for those shirts at Target this morning and noted they were only available online — not in actual stores. When I looked again this evening the brand “Abprallen” was completely gone. A Reuters article claims “threats” again Target and completely ignores the part about the Biblegirl/Drag part, which seems quite convenient.
I’m also not a fan of the Boycott-of-the-week of the Religious Right: I very much remember the AFA and Disney issues of the 90s. (I also remember the Orange Juice boycotts of the 90s and Mario Movie boycotts on the left in 2023 — everyone wants a piece of this culture war). But they’d have to be in some sort of bubble not to expect a backlash to stuff like this.
Alan & Michael, lots of food for thought in your comments….
My Fire tablet went kaput, so im typing on a tablet that weighs a ton
WE ARE NOT OF THIS WORLD
Interesting about Intel. I work for a similar company in the Silicon Valley. We have multiple interest based initiative groups, including Christian. We were just emailed an Interesting stat about Allyship… that Gen Zers identified 20% Lbgtaq(etc) according to a Pew poll. If true, that’s end of species.
