First time listening to the show, I really enjoyed the concept of “checking your work.” I teach people that they aren’t done preparing a study until they have checked several commentaries from different traditions.

PLEASE consider discussing “Healing in the Atonement” (aka Bill Johnson’s theory) too… and John Crowder’s “Trinitarian Universalism.” These are all things coming up lately among many people I know…
When we go heavy on commentary study when ‘preparing a study’ we run the risk of teaching the commentaries’ understanding of the Word rather than the Word itself.
It’s a balance, I know.
