This was a good episode, Michael. Nice theme music!
My church does not believe in what is commonly called “original sin” but we do believe we all caught the sin virus from Adam. We don’t have Adam’s guilt, though. We are only guilty of our own sins.
I am glad Phil enjoyed Orthodox Easter in Greece. It’s the best time of the year!
My views on the bible and original sin have changed over the years
I believe every person’s sin is original to that person. We are not under the guilt or curse or condemnation of anyone else’s sin other than our own. Not even Adam’s.
Have too much of my own to worry about anyone else’s and I no longer accept the traditional teaching of the stain of Adam’s sin.

The topic of the fate of the unborn is a tough one. Michael, I like how you present your POV but in so doing do not slam others who believe differently. For many years now I have held onto something Phil brought up during the program and that is God never makes mistakes. Ultimately that is what I rest in when tough topics come up. We serve a perfect and just God!
I think I heard the Lord whisper in my ear the show should be an hour long and twice a week! 🙂 Thanks for the hard work Michael and Phil.
I didn’t mean to lump them together, they were just the most visible I could think of.
God’s Word has stood the test of time and is everlasting, anyone can take those Words and make a life for themselves out of it. God’s Word has been used and misused to the advantage of whomever wishes to utilize them.

Thank you, Xenia!

Don’t get me wrong Xenia, I always love what you bring to the table, don’t ever stop.
Your integrity and dedication speaks volumes.
You are a true blessing to the Body of Christ!
Interesting topics this week, if God is silent then we should be silent as well.
Think how much less division there would be if we just kept our flesh out of our idea of Scripture.
As we head down the road, who do we see taking over for Rick Warren, Greg Laurie, Joel Osteen etc.. do they all preach epistles of straw?
Charles, I’m not sure why you would lump the three together…they have little in common than being celebrities.
Warren and Laurie preach a very similar Baptistic message and Osteen is vapid.
All three churches will collapse when the founder goes.
