God, holy and just, you exalt a nation that follows the way of righteousness: We pray for our land and people that we may become worthy of your gracious favor. Deliver us from greed of gain, from race and class prejudice and ill-will, from all causes of discontent and strife. Inspire in us such love of our neighbor and concern for one another’s welfare that we shall work together with one heart and will to secure equality of opportunity and due reward for all. Amen.
