Jean’s Gospel: I Live
By Jean Dragon
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My gift; coming down from the Father of lights.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My Friend; whose life in me my Father delights.
A lost sheep, Christ Jesus came for me.
The Good Shepherd, laid down His life for the sheep.
I hear, the voice of my Shepherd calling me.
Heaven rejoices, my Shepherd comes home with His sheep.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My gift; coming down from the Father of lights.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My Friend; whose life in me my Father delights.
Bread of Life, my true bread comes from heaven.
Living Bread, gave His body for the life of the world.
Take eat, this is My body given for you.
Whoever feeds on this Bread forever will live.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My gift; coming down from the Father of lights.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My Friend; whose life in me my Father delights.
By Your Spirit, I will walk through the valley of death.
Yet rejoicing in newness of life You’ve created in me.
Out of darkness You’ve called me into Your marvelous light.
From bondage, Christ, my Lord and my God, set me free!
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My gift; coming down from the Father of lights.
I live; yet not I, but it’s Christ who lives in me.
My Friend; whose life in me my Father delights.
