On Christian partisanship, the writer seems to be arguing a moral equivalency between the left and right. He may well be right, for example when conservatives argue for the separation of children from their parents, or when liberals refuse to acknowledge the injustice of abortion. The one thing I’m sure about, is that Christ would not have us be silent in our world. The kingdom of God is among us, and as the Church, we have an obligation in this world to profess the witness of our Lord, and to stand against evil. But how do we do that when we can’t even agree on what is evil and what is good?
Cash,
You have discerned the heart of the matter…
