A tantalizing comment, Michael. ?
Spiritual abuse…. What is described is rampant in corporate America.. maybe just another downside of corporate model Christianity?

Next we’ll hear that it makes the guy who is about to operate on my brain sharper and more precise
Carl Trueman also has an article on CT’s website. He’s a member of the OPC, which the most recent synagogue shooter is apparently a member of (his dad is an elder). I thought it very worthwhile.

Who’s To Blame… ?
That title is the clickbait sort of crap that stirs hatred and violence against Christians.
This author would blame the jewish serviceman who called him a m*****f***** for microaggressing him.
Identity politics and masturbatory squidge meant only to get twitter likes and retweets.
No one who reads it gets past the title of the article, let alone the fourth paragraph. Not that it matters. It’s an excuse for proof texting for any leftist intent on harming the brethren.
Idiotic droll that rests on assumptions rather than evidence.
You cannot have an outcomes based equality of gospel preaching. It’s noone’s fault but the shooter’s.
It’s pretty apparent he either never was a Christian or decided to let his heart become hardened and left the faith – BECAUSE HE MURDERED PEOPLE. Blame the shooter, for pete’s sake! Moronic…

Called the shooter…

I’m just glad someone is hitting on this issue.
A caveat might be that churches are woefully unprepared to handle the special needs population and are rightly afraid of litigation.
On the other hand, if church services were open to interruptions that don’t necessarily sound fantastic on a podcast or the radio which would necessarily be a part of opening the service up to the special needs community, parents and caregivers could assume responsibility.
On the adult side, it is often the case that human services workers in group homes do not allow their charges to attend services.
Whatever the case, restricting access of special needs people to church services is a near total dehumanization of them.
Just reread my first post on this page
Mr Trueman, my mouth guy ahead of my judgement. Not that I agree with you at all, but you are far from idiotic, or moronic,
And we are all prone to post wrongheaded stuff…
So I apologize. Hope you read this.
I would blame the timestamp, but it was only 9ish.
Sheepishly yours,
Jerod,
I went back and re read Truemans piece.
First though…Trueman is quite conservative.
To my knowledge (and I’m a fan)he doesn’t have a Twitter or Facebook account.
Finally, you must have read something other than I did…
Michael
I was groaning thinking about rereading what I wrote, not about rereading Trueman. I did reread it and came away with something different.
I figured that alone meant I had to apologize…
Then I reread my post and realized what a mule I had been.
Oh, for a Delete Button… My house and minivan for a Delete Button!
“Christian Cannibus?” STUPID ! ! !
