Also before the Fall, when everything was perfect, God commanded Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. I find it difficult to reconcile those facts with the claim that “the ideal state of a man or woman is sexual celibacy”–much as I may agree that people should not be engaging in mindless sex.
