I demand you choose a theme which more accurately reflects the Moses Model!!!
After all, unless you’re teaching verse-by-verse, through the entire Bible, like all Biblical characters, except for every OT & NT person, including Jesus….darn!
Ok, choose a theme which reflects your exalted position, high and lifted-up, NO ONE has any real authority over you, like….oh yea, only CC pastors…darn!
    Nevermind!
    : )

well … Jessica Johnson’s book about Mars Hill and Mark Driscoll is published, and I’ve got a review of Biblical Porn up at the usual spot.

    https://wenatcheethehatchet.blogspot.com/2018/06/prelude-and-review-of-jessica-johnsons.html

It is, fair warning, 12,000 words long and not for the TL:DR sort of reader. The first half is MD quotes so that by the time you wade through 6k of the primary source the second half discussing Johnson’s case for how and why Mark’s whole approach to gender and marriage can be understood as a kind of social pornography is easier to contextualize.

A word of warning, when I say that Mark Driscoll is like the Christian Dan Savage of The Stranger notoriety … some nsfw quotes from MD from his earlier days.

Plus, the site uses cookies, etc, etc. Want to cover the bases there post GDPR requirements. If you don’t know what that is that’s a nominated theme for a new Linkathon! 🙂 Bloggers have to know about this stuff if they have non-American EU traffic.
