sorry to hear about Jimmy Carter. I’ve read some of his books, and they were insightful and ahead of his time. I wanted to attend one of his Sunday School classes, but I realized that it was probably too late to do so. He was an under-appreciated blessing to this country.
Perhaps few here will find this notable but Michael S Heiser has died of pancreatic cancer. He was one of a kind a rather soft spoken teacher of especially Old Testament texts and themes. I have grown fond of his work and manner of doing it. He died quietly in the care of those he loved.
