The AM car radio story has been around awhile. There are other groups opposed d
to removing it.
In rural parts of the country, agribusiness people and others rely on AM especially to monitor rapidly changing weather conditions. It can be a lifeline for them.
I hope the car mfrs. will keep supplying AM. I
don’t think it costs much.
Of course with tariff pressures on US car mfrs, it might fall by the wayside…
I hate that my truck doesn’t have a CD player! I listen to AM radio (mainly sports stuff) a lot.
While we are at it, why don’t we bring back 8-Tracks and Wax Cylinders / Bakelite Cylinders for audio recordings.
I used to love AM radio when I was young…I haven’t listened to an AM station in years.
I get an old, grandfathered satellite radio price for the car and that’s what I listen to the few times I go out.
Listen to it in the house on Alexa sometimes too…
Nice to pick up a ball game now and then, and the AM weather radio broadcast.
Where I live, it’s impossible to get any radio to come in except in the car. (I suppose one could put an antenna on the roof). My mother, OTOH, could get a Mexican station on her dental work. Sometimes it woke her up at night. I like the only comment on the “Jesus Movement” article:

I appreciate your honest rendering of Our Story of how God used a bunch of throwaways to bring in such a harvest…I believe Billy Graham sowed the seeds….and God used the born again hippies, saved outside the organized church, to bring in the Harvest!!!…people came forward, being convicted of their sin at Billy Graham “tent meetings “…but the churches didn’t fill up until God poured out His Mercy and Love on the hippies….and Mark….this was the best article…closest to the truth 🙏….thank You!…”

By the way…my opinion is that the piece is spot on…
Michael , I have often wondered about that procession – people praising Him as he enters , and then turning on him at the “trial”…the article adds another side to it I hadn’t thought of .
I also hadn’t heard from any other source that Pilate was bringing his own procession at the same time – do you happen to know of a source for that part of the story ? (Unless it actually is Biblical and I missed it somewhere ….)
I think I might search out more of Thayer’s writings….
