This is how they define a “Christian” nation…within the next 90 days the general public will start feeling the effects of what they’ve done here at home…

I disagree with James White on almost everything, and he’s become a worse version of himself with age.
That said, I’m listening to his debate with Ehrman from 2009. I haven’t listened to it in years. I don’t know what White has done academically in recent years, but at the time he didn’t have real academic credentials. He had an MA from Fuller and some further degrees from spurious institutes. Still, here he is on stage holding his own with the foremost textual critic in the world. In fact, in some places he did quite well.
How did he get these opportunities? He just showed up with an enormous amount of confidence in his knowledge and his ability to argue. Unreal. I don’t think someone could turn self-confidence into such a respected position these days. The internet would tear his credentials apart before he ever made it to the Ehrman stage.
Speaking of Bryson, whatever happened to him? Also, didn’t Bryson make Michael his sworn enemy due to Michael’s cricitisms of Calvary Chapel as well as create a bogus clone of this website to spite Michael?

I understand him being in a debate with Bryson. Similar levels of prestige within the church.
On stage with Ehrman just blows my mind thinking back on it. But he really was gifted in those ways.
And I’ll have to find the Bryson debate, that must’ve been comical.
