May his name be removed from every official monument, and be confined to the plaques over his gold plated, gaudy palaces.

Elon Musk, as of yesterday, became the world’s first trillionaire. That’s nothing to celebrate. We are now in the global age of the trillionaire, a new stage in the civilizational downward spiral of obscene wealth held by individuals; it parallels and is corollary to the development of a class of oligarchs that have more social, political, and financial power than any class of elite in any earlier time. It’s an occasion for mourning the quick passing dream of democracy.

    @ Robert F,
They want it back the way it was in the days of the Pharaohs and the Caesers.

Trump is having a motorcycle jump on the lawn of the White House today for his birthday and part of the 250th observation. He’s turning the White House facility into a violent three ring circus including motorcycle jumps and UFC fights because he wants to watch someone get really bloodied and/or die as part of the festivities. He’s a geriatric Caligula.

The Roman Catholic Church has had an unusually large number of young male American converts in the last few years. The fact that it’s happening at a time when the RCC is experiencing greater loss of young American female members than ever before is not auspicious for the young male converts if they are looking for trad wives (which I suspect some or many are as part of a broader search for “traditional” religion and lifestyle).

It’s Hunger Gamer redux — coming soon to a White House near you!

“And so it was decreed that, each year, the various districts of Panem would offer up, in tribute, one young man and woman to fight to the death in a pageant of honor, courage and sacrifice.” (The Hunger Games, 2012)

As I said earlier, it was named for John F. Kennedy due to his assassination. I am more than OK with Congress authorizing add Trump’s name if the same happens to him. In fact, I would be well into multiple celebratory bottles of various adult distilled beverages and the like to care. I suspect millions of others would be doing the same.

I am really upset over the Somali World Cup referee who was denied entry into the US!! The pettiness of that kind of hatred is boggling.

  10. Ra's al Ghul says:

    John,

Despite that pettiness, more people are following the World Cup and attending World Cup matches here in the US than Trump’s rained out (YESS!!) UFC event at the White House for this birthday or h lame 250th celebration back in May. This once again proves that Trump has the inverse Midas touch. Everything he touches turns to sh*t.

I see Trump’s peace deal surrenders to every Iranian demand made just after the outset of the war. There will be no regime change; Iran will charge “fees” (a euphemism for tolls) for passage through the Strait of Hormuz, something they did not do before Trump started his war; and there is no agreement requiring the Iranians to surrender their nuclear stockpiles. Add to this that the prestige of Iran among its proxies has increased astronomically as a result of this war, which they rightly view as a tremendous victory for Iran, and you can count it as Trump’s most miserable failure, and that’s saying a lot. The war left the US in a worse and Iran in a better place.

I see part of the agreement that the US signed with Iran is for the US to provide a 300,000,000 dollar economic development package. Iran rightly would see this as meeting the demand for reparations it made as one of the conditions for ending the war. And tell me how much in reparations did Obama pay for Iran when his nuclear development monitoring program was put in place? Why, he paid nothing, but he did only released frozen Iranian assets. Monitoring Iranian development of its nuclear program is not even a part of this agreement. So far, the US gets nothing from this agreement that it didn’t have before it started the war, but Iran gets 300 billion dollars, right to impose fees for passage through the Strait, right to keep its missile capabilities, and no mention of stopping its use of proxies to make trouble in the region or monitoring its nuclear development program. Great job, Trump.

    Robert F,

The TACO folded like a cheap tent. But I am sure all his cultists will be bragging about how great a deal is and how much of a badass Trump is and how this is way better than Obama’s deal. I would not be surprised if Israel releases its Epstein data and videos of Trump with an underage girl considering they and everybody besides Iran gets ****ed in this deal.

If a MAGA asshat tells me again what a great negotiator Trump is, I swear to God I will beat him within an inch of his life with a hardcover copy of Trump’s ghostwritten book “The Art of the Deal”.
