I’ve added a new athlete to my list of favorites...Sophie Cunningham of the Indiana Fever of the WNBA.
Don’t get me wrong…I don’t watch the WNBA as it’s a less of a sport than a cauldron of identity issues always on the edge of a riot.
However, Ms. Cunningham has become a villain for insisting that only women should play women’s sports…insisting that ideology doesn’t trump biology.
She is utterly correct.
She is also hated for being a pretty, straight, white woman…proving again that” inclusion “is often a one way street.
I’m tired of this nonsense and needed to get that off my chest.

What the DOJ did to David Hearn is despicable. Now that their attempt to scapegoat him as a vandal has failed — and I hesitate to use that word, because while it failed legally, it has succeeded in staining an innocent man with a false accusation for the rest of his life as the POTUS with complete immunity continues to spew lies about Hearn being guilty and to put a target on his back and the back’s of his family for the worst of the MAGA fanatics to aim at — it now is scapegoating the National Parks Dept by claiming the NPS failed to give it info that the damage was done to the Reflecting Pool because of poor construction before Hearn ever showed up on the scene. All of us who are honest knew that the damage to the Reflecting Pool was due to substandard construction from the first reporting of it, and that Hearn was innocent. This DOJ/ Administration will not hesitate one moment to victimize innocent people to cover its mistakes and misdeeds, and if you or I happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, it won’t hesitate to victimize us. Our country is being run by miscreants.

Far from hated, she’s one of the top two or three most popular players in the league despite not being a very good player.

Sophie has been in the spotlight lately, and I wonder if part of the reason is she’s purposely taking some of the heat off of Caitlin Clark.
On another note, I shared about 3 months ago that I rejoined the ranks of being owned by a cat. Toby is the most confident pet I’ve shared my home with. From the moment he came to the house, he claimed every space as his own. He doesn’t back down from any threats. And his purring is constant and sounds like a buzzsaw.
