    My friend who got shot in the head is awake and able to talk to police. Apparently, he remembers the events leading up to being shot, so that seems like a really positive sign as far as not suffering severe brain damage goes. http://www.nbc26.com/news/victim-of-oshkosh-shooting-talks-to-police

    j2…so glad your friend can remember. I will sure pray for him.

    All, I am having eye surgery tomorrow morning. I’m nervous since this is my “good” eye and I have damaged vision in the other one, so it’s critical this surgery goes well. I’m also coming down with something, so am a little concerned. Your prayers are coveted 🙂 Thanks!

    Thank you Michael, Em and j2…the surgery appears to have gone well. They were concerned I might cough during the procedure with this cold I came down with, but God kept me still. I really appreciate your prayers. Get to do it again on the other eye 2 weeks from today!
