Prayer & Praise
O Lord, open my eyes that I may see the needs of others
Open my ears that I may hear their cries;
Open my heart so that they need not be without succor;
Let me not be afraid to defend the weak because of the anger of the strong,
Nor afraid to defend the poor because of the anger of the rich.
Show me where love and hope and faith are needed,
And use me to bring them to those places.
And so open my eyes and my ears
That I may this coming day be able to do some work of peace for thee.
Amen.

Praying that Michael’s sabbatical will bring him peace and rest and healing. Thanks for all you do Michael, and pray you are well and back on your feet as quickly as possible.
Amen…joining you in prayer…
Linnea, when I saw your name here, I thought of you and your family’s medical issues. Praying you all are well and healing.
Praying for Michael as well.
praying for all (including me) in need of spiritual satisfaction.
Prayers for my mom appreciated. A few months ago she went through a major surgery, found some cancer in her pancreas which they think they’ve removed.
Something happened about two months ago that has made her back so painful she can barely move and now, she has an abcess in her belly we will need to deal with.
Luckily, I’m between projects so can be around to help, but caregiving is not my strong suit.
I want to find local work, tired of traveling, but it’s hard to look at the moment.
Feeling frustrated and a bit overwhelmed.
Praying for you and your mum, London.
Praying God will refresh Paul’s heart.
Thanks to all for the prayers.
They’re much appreciated as I try to navigate these waters.
Praying with you, London…
praying for London and her mom, for Nonnie’s family, her little grandson, for Linnea’s family for Paul and Michael and many others who have posted in times past as you come to mind…
London,
I am sorry to read your post and will pray for local work that is adequate, challenging and fulfilling and pays well– why not go for it all. As for your mom she is a wonderful lady and deserves the very best care. May you find what she needs as well. Greet her from our little tribe that the grace of Jesus would be upon her.
Thank you for your prayers…my husband is doing well–we have a 1 year follow-up this Friday and I’m a bit nervous about that.
Thanks BD,
I’ll pass on your regards.
Did have a bit of good news yesterday when the abscess burst. Hoping it’s just in the skin layers, not internal.
