He is risen, indeed. Praying today for Christians around the world, suffering at the hand of others on this day that represents the victory of Jesus over death and hell….. Bombings, torture, violence and death….knowing that we all share in the suffering and resurrection of Jesus. The suffering of one is the suffering of us all, and the glory of one is the glory of us all.

May the peace of the Lord be upon you all.

Thank you all for the prayers last week for my mom. Found out that the reason she was having difficulty with movement, standing, etc. was that she has 2 compression fractures in her back. One more severe than the other.
Luckily, those are self healing and she should be better in the next month or so from that issue. It’s good just to know what the real issue was.
The surgical wound infection she had is getting better as well after the abscess burst. Still not 100% healed up, but at least it isn’t getting worse.
It’s been a rough couple months here, but hopefully, with Spring coming on now, things will get better.
    Thanks again

Christ is risen – yes and amen

reading Brueggemann’s prayer and the desperation it expresses is real – it is the world today – forgive us if we talk too much and pray too little – someone has said that Christians live on hope, not explanations – come soon Lord Jesus; it doesn’t seem to be getting any better down here

Tomorrow morning I am undergoing a colon and endoscopy. I you would keep me in your prayers that I would have a positive procedure and have God’s peace. Thank you. Allan

  6. Erunner says:

My procedures yesterday went well. I was calm and thank God for that. They removed a few polyps which there didn’t seem to be any concern over. Since they need to rule out any bleeding I’ll undergo another procedure similar to yesterday where they focus on my small intestine. That takes place in a few weeks.Next week I have a CT scan on my kidneys. Please pray that God’s will be done and that I rely totally on Him instead of my anxiety. Thank you.

London, praying for your mom and you during these times. I pray God would grant you both His peace and give you wisdom as time moves on.

oops should read ” instead of focusing on my anxiety.”

  8. Nonnie says:

Praying for you Erunner! Glad the procedure went well.
