Almighty God, you have broken the tyranny of sin and sent into our hearts the Spirit of your Son. Give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that all people may know the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
For your goodness and generosity
in giving us all we need,
help us to praise you O God.
In every circumstance of life,
in good times and bad,
help us to trust you, O God.
In love and faithfulness,
with all that we have and all that we are,
help us to serve you, O God.
As we speak or write or listen
to those nearby or far away,
help us to share your love, O God.
In our plans and work
for ourselves and for others,
help us to glorify you, O God.
In every thought and word and deed,
by the power of your Holy Spirit,
this week, may we live for you, O God.

Dear Lord, May all who visit here be touched by Your grace and your peace. May they hear Your love and Your faithfulness in all that is written here. Everstudy – Please keep my son in your prayers as he prepares to head out of state to college (we move him in August). Also, keep my wife in your prayers as she prepares to let our son head out of state for college.

London – mom recovering from heart attack
ERunner – I will also be seeing an endocronologist to have my parathyroid checked as my body is producing way too much calcium. Would you pray this works out and that I will trust God through the process? Thank you. Allan
j2theperson- My friend’s 6 month old grandson had surgery june 17, to unfuse the plates in his skull. If you could keep him in your prayers we’d all appreciate it.
Michael – I could use some prayer
Linnea – Would you pray for Greg? He and my husband play tennis. He was treated for an aggressive brain cancer and thought he was clear, but it has roared back. Please pray for healing and that he and his wife come to know the Lord. Thank you!
Xenia-+Pray for the churches of Sri Lanka
Paige – Asking for prayer for a family issue… God knows…. and the silencing of a lying gossip who is spreading slander about me to family members and others. It’s an on going issue that is quite perplexing, and apparently demonic. Twisted, delusional and strange.
I spoke to a trusted friend about the issue and was told “Satan has given XYZ power to turn people against you” and “XYZ has been used by Satan to destroy your former marriage and harm the church and now to divide your family”.
This XYZ happens to also be cyber stalking me here on the Phoenix preacher.
May God enlighten all souls to see and know Truth and walk in it by His Spirit.

j2theperson- my church has been dealing with crazy church stuff.
Captain Kevin – I’ve been put on an FMLA indefinite leave of absence from my work. Hoping it will only be for a few weeks. My dr put me on a diet, said I need to exercise 15-20 mins per day no matter how I feel, and we’re going to try a new med. I have about 6 days of PTO left. After that, I lose pay for every day I miss.
Captain Kevin – I would appreciate prayer. I cannot even describe the pain and fatigue I have been experiencing the last several weeks. School is back in session, and it’s really difficult to give my students what they need and deserve.

Linnea – niece Danielle in jail in another state. would like to find her to visit and let her know she is loved in a way that is meaningful to her. Her mother, my sister-in-law, doesn’t know where she is, but when she saw her last could see the physical changes brought on by the drugs. Please pray also for God’s comfort for Danielle’s Mom, Karen. Thank you
David H – I could use a prayer. I was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy . Right side of my face is paralyzed. Prednisone and an antiviral.
Vicki McClellan – I’ve been struggling since my husband passed. But I have been angry at God for not answering my prayers and healing him. After all, the kids and grandkids and I still need him here. Help me understand.
Michael – heart aneurysm and a bad valve, bad back and neck issues.
Captain Kevin – Please pray for my oldest daughter. She is separated from her husband. This is probably the 3rd time in the 3 years they’ve been married. I’m not sure who is more at fault or if there is any abuse, so I just pray for God’s will. They are believers, I think.
JD – Marshal whose mother told him that she doesn’t love him
JoelG – filing for custody of my 2 younger teenagers. I found hundreds of explicit photos of my youngest daughter that I’m sure have been shared.
-My ex, daughter and I met to talk, discipline and love on our daughter. We’re all in the same page moving forward and she will be getting counseling.
Linnea – Jon and Sarah. Please pray that they would know God’s love and would follow Him out of horrible lifestyles to freedom.
the new Victor – pray for God’s protection and mercy upon my children, who’ve been through a lot, including witnessing domestic violence in the other home, and that I am strong and engaged enough to lead them so they don’t turn out like the sons of Eli.
Bob Sweat – we are asking God to open a door to a small church somewhere in the US who want a pastor to love them and faithfully teach the Word.

Lurkie Loo – dear friend with inoperable Stage 4 glioblastoma (brain cancer). She is 44.
