What a wonderful prayer. I’m not entirely 100% ‘there’ yet with praying for difficulties, suffering, being set aside…. but that level of surrender comes and occasionally goes… Thy Will be done, Lord and Savior.
God bless us everyone…. Blessed Sunday, pastor friends…. to God be all glory.

What boggles me oft times tho,..
Is attempting to understand if the difficulties, sufferings and being set aside are chastisements from The Lord for my own missteps -divinely appointed or simply a matter of due course of life on this earth?
Just thinking of the children in the wilderness- and how God wanted them to have the finest wheat and honey – yet because they were stubborn- stiff necked and rebellious – they missed out on the blessings God desired to give….
There are times I have thought that I was behaving perfectly acceptable – only to realize later that I was indeed being prideful and stubborn … Unintentionally of course… But stubborn nonetheless … Hmm
And then pondering how we are told in the. NT that we have not because we ask not… And we have not because we ask amiss…
Dear Lord-
Help me to recognize the times when I become stubborn or prideful and to repent and look to you in humility to walk in confidence that the circumstances about me are divinely ordered by you..whether bounty or meager … Whether active or set aside still waters to rest and if for correction- clarity to correct and walk in the best . So my spirit would be at peace
Lord bless each and every person posting and reading here at this site
Bring comfort and healing to those who are suffering., peace and confidence to those who are struggling…
Wisdom to those who are guiding
Answers to those who are seeking
Blessings to those who are ministering
And fill our hearts in greater measure with your love in order to care for and encourage those you bring into our lives …

Prayers much appreciated for our trip to NM and CO…we leave on an airplane at 6am Wednesday. No roadtrip this year, which makes me a little sad…however the kids are excited about flying.

Sarah – Prayers much appreciated for our trip to NM and CO…we leave on an airplane at 6am Wednesday. No roadtrip this year, which makes me a little sad…however the kids are excited about flying.
Sarah – Prayers for us to bring refreshment and distraction…Mom has slipped back into a bit of an antagonistic state. Rough day yesterday for my Dad.
brian – I just got some real hard news as to two people I had known for years had passed, one in a tragic accident and another who had struggled with illness. it has just been a rather hard weekend. I dont know what to do with the pain.
Trey – recovering from mono
Filbertz- been completely overwhelmed with tasks, trying to finish school year, business responsibilities, and a new grandson (our dear Amber) who along with his 14 month old brother and momma needs a lot of care and support. It has been very satisfying and enjoyable, but exhausting. Amber needs much attention and assistance with two little ones in diapers and hubby not available (long story) so we’re pulling long hours. Baby Charles is doing great and older brother Isaiah too. All that and career transitions…so prayer for strength, wisdom, and mercy appreciated.
Dusty – has broken her foot .

J2 and her husband facing nonsense from the local government which may result in $6000 in fees. Prayers for wisdom and the community voicing their frustration, and that they would be heard.
Michael Liles “Smurf” A man Derek served with in Bosnia and Iraq, he has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, ALS. The lifespan for those diagnosed with this is very short. Scott Pastor friend’s 18 month old Granddaughter was killed when a dresser and television fell on her.
Neo – rapid recovery from surgery .

Gary – for a solid job opportunity and something to come quickly for housing. Also, just for some encouragement during this frustrating time.

Chile -family member who was given just two years to live.

Sarah’s Nephew-in-Law Blake Serving 9 months in Afghanistan. Pray for safety.

Gomergirl – coworker/ friend, Kathy. niece was one of the victims in Santa Barbara
Captain Kevin – cervical spinal stenosis (narrowing of the upper spinal column), which causes pain in my neck and shoulders as well as down into my hands. , bone spurs in my hands, and what appears to be a separating of my left wrist and hand. I should be going in for an MRI on that hand sometime in the next week. I’m wearing braces and taking some pretty strong meds, but the relief is minimal. My pain specialist says that pain sensations I feel are probably heightened by the fibromyalgia.
Please pray for us (a family with several younger kids).
We are on vacation in the middle-of-nowhere, for 1 more week. A generous Christian man helped us take a vacation in his cabin….and our car broke. Broke beyond reasonable hope of repair (for a car of its age, for the cost).
My best option now involves someone driving 350+ miles to pick us all up this coming Sunday.
My wife is done crying, I think, but we await a good solution.

One doctors appointment down.
His spleen is less inflamed, but his liver is causing issues now.
Still, he should recover in time.
Belinda is going in tomorrow to have out patient surgery. The scar from the initial surgery has opened up and due to risk of infection the surgeon will reopen a portion of the scar and then restitch it. Please pray the scar will heal properly. Thank you.

Praying for healing for Belinda.
If anyone sees this, please pray for mercy and grace for me and my husband. We made a mistake that could cost us a lot of money, time, and effort, but it could also not be a big deal at all. We have taken the first step toward correcting it, but whether it ends up being really bad or really simple all depends on the attitude of the person we end up working with. I just want him to be really nice and understanding and cool.
Thank you for your prayers dusty and j2. Belinda had her surgery as scheduled and it went as planned. She’s a bit discouraged about having this surgery. Her hand is quite swollen and the pain is under control. She returns Wednesday to have the staples removed. Thanks again to all.
