  6. Believe says:

Please pray for my son, he is having a very difficult time breathing. The doctor believes he has either RSV or Bronchitis. He’s meeting us in an hour or so to check him out (cool doc to come in on a Sunday…but my wife is freaking…and he likes her).

God, if it is Your will, please have mercy on my son and if You will…please heal him…please give the doctor wisdom…please open his airways so he can breath easily.

I pray these things in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, the Messiah, amen.

Joining you all in prayer for Believe’s son.

Update on my brother-in-law Keith … he’s doing amazingly well. He’s out of ICU & now in a regular hospital room … his memory is in tact … he understands well & is TALKING clearly. That is truly amazing! He also has a little movement on his right side … another major praise! His heart is still an issue but is at this point somewhat controlled by medication. He has a long way to go but by all indications it appears he is being given a second chance. Thank you all for you prayers … please keep praying!!!

  12. Dusty says:

When every step is so hard to take
And all of my hope is fading away
When life is a mountain that I can not climb
You carry me, Jesus carry me.

  13. Dusty says:

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in me time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

  14. Dusty says:

When every moment is more than I can take
And all of my strength is slipping away
When every breath gets harder me
You carry me, Jesus carry me

  15. Dusty says:

    I need You
    You are everything I need
    I love everything about You

You Are strength in my weakness
You are the refuge I seek
You are everything in me time of need
You are everything, You are everything I need

  16. Dusty says:

Father so many can’t catch their breath. Be there refuge. Carry them.

  17. Psalm62 says:

someone sent me a lovely version of ‘footprints’ to the effect: “yes, Lord, I see those prints behind us now where You carried me, but what are those rambling, confused footprints back there that don’t seem to lead anywhere? Those, my child, are where we danced.”
I like that. God stir our hearts in the hard times to remember the times, led by You, we danced in joy and delight. There’s more dancing ahead…

God keep all close this nite

  18. Believe says:

Thanks for the prayers. The doctor believes it is viral and gave him something to help ease the symptoms. He’s better than he was (in terms of being able to breath).

When he was born he was premature and his lungs weren’t fully developed…when he gets sick, his lungs usually get the worst of it, it seems.

He’s such an active kid…so athletic and full of energy. I love him so much and I hate seeing him like this.

Continuing in prayer for him…and thankful he’s getting some relief right now.

  19. Erunner says:

Believe, Good news. It’s tough when your child is sick no matter how old they are!

Nancy, What good news. Those are all good signs and I hope things continue to progress.

Jeff seems to be pretty much the same and prayers are appreciated.

  20. Wendy says:

Praying for all of those who need prayer.
Please pray for my back; I have a back injury from a car accident 3 years ago, and it has flared up. I’ve been in excrutiating pain for 4 days. On top of that, my doctor thinks I may have MS. I know God is in control, but the fear of the unknown is a scary thing.

    Blessings to you all.

  21. Nene says:

Lord be with Wendy this evening and ease her pain. Lord she is not well, her back is flaring, and the pain is really bad. Please Lord, help Wendy get through the night, make it comfortable for her to sleep. Ease Wendy’s mind as she waits on the drs. Lord be with the doctors, give them wisdom needed in helping Wendy.

Lord, be with Believe’s son tonight. Continue helping him to breathe properly. Allow for a restful night, with out pain. Lord be with Believe and his wife tonight, and provide rest for them.

Lord we thank you Keith’s recovery, and we ask You to continue to heal his heart, mind and body. We sing praises to You Lord that Keith has progressed so far.

  22. Nene says:

Father God, be with Erunner’s brother in law tonight. May Your mercy be poured out upon him, and his body be healed. Be with his family, his wife, his children and be their provision. You are our God all mighty, and we ask you for help and healing.

The sunshine, rain, the snow and the terrain which bring forth bountiful fruits of harvest
You have given us family and friends to delight in and ease our burdens with

Help us today see all about us that we can rejoice and be thankful in,
whatever our current situation, whatever our cares,
Reassure our hearts that we are ever under Your watchful care,
in regards to both our Body and soul, our hopes and fears

Help us to learn to turn from sin, delight in you
to study Your will and Your ways sit at your feet, learning ever learning
at the feet of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

Help us to be filled to overflowing
With the presence of Your Holy Spirit
That we may me a help, light and encouragement to thsoe who are frail, weak and discouraged
help us to be an encouragement to all in whatever state they be
in their hopes their fears their dreams

may we look to You in all our ways,
lead us in ways of righteousness
    make our paths striaght

help us to find that place of joy,
satisfaction and purpose that is solely found in resting in Your grace and in obedience to Your instruction.

Fill our hearts with songs of praise,
and kindle such a light in our hearts and souls that no threatening storm of evil or darkness would quench that light
    and in our sorrows,
help us see, that you sorrow and grieve with us
send us the comfortor to help us through
those times that we seem to think we could not possibly go on one more day, hour, minute
Rescue us from ourselves, our pride, our selfishness, all those things that are contrary to that which You desire to see and have worked in us

Help us Father to walk in Your Spirit
so that we do not fulfill the lust of the flesh
as the world is bombarding us more than ever witha plethora of vices which seem so innoculent yet draw us from that intimacy of knowing and delighting in You.

Lord above all, teach us to love
to love you, to love others,
to love walking in Your ways

may our day be filled with hopeful expectation that You will meet us
and fill us, giving this day our sustenance, and perhaps a portion more to share with others…

keep our hearts and wills mindful of serving others,
    being tenderhearted and compassionate
help us to teach patiently Your truths to those who you call us to teach

Help us to be wise in that which is holy, true and Just
and innocent to that which is evil
Help us to raise up and guide our children in the way they should go
whether they be our biological children, or those to whom we have an influence in our families, and communities.

help us to reach out to a lost and dying world,
a world run amok with corruption and greed,
help us to let our lights that You have placed in us so shine before men
that they may see our good deeds and glorify YOU, All Mighty God, creator of heaven and earth… that they may repent and also walk in fellowship with You.

Thank you Father for all you have given us, and for all You will continue to do

  25. Erunner says:

If you could pray for Jeff and his family please. Received this message from my sister. Jeff is in a facility about 60-70 miles from home. Thank you.

“Will be on our way( Jess and I ) down to visit Jeff soon. He has been battling a fever of unknown origin. Doctors are hoping it is from an infection and not his internal thermometer. If it is from an infection then they treat it the other is a sign of brain injury. This has caused him to be really sleepy(unresponsive) as compared to before his transfer to Kindred.
