Remembering Dr. Packer
I haven’t been able to get past the the opening testimony from the nurse who cared for him at the time of his death.
It is a holy and beautiful telling of how a saint enters heaven.

Lovely gift of God’s grace to provide a competent woman of Faith to be at this man’s bedside as he entered Eternity…..
It is, i confess, hard to anticipate the busy Son of God being there to welcome me as i cross over…. Maybe my grandparents. .
Sitting here in the corner of a coffee shop with tears running down my face. What a blessing it was for both Dr. Packer and his nurse. Thanks for sharing this, Michael.
Em,
Not sure if Jesus will personally welcome me on that day, but in any case, I’m looking forward to being free of this body of sin. Thanks be to God.
Very much appreciated David Neff’s contribution…
Captaon, doesn’t Scripture tell us that He knows we’re made of dust? We look forward to something much better…. For sure, i hope to leave my fear of heights behind… LOL
