Thanks for disseminating factual information, based on science. So many religious people are somehow under the assumption that God and science are mutually exclusive. Untrue. God created everything. Science just studies the creation. Also, people need to stop with the dissemination of non-factual information. So many on Facebook and Twitter spreading misinformation. It’s very dangerous to others. Even govt. officials are doing it. Please stop it, folks. This isn’t about politics anymore. And stop with the blame game, please. Calling this virus the “Chinese virus” is just hateful and very unchristian. (POTUS!..not a political shot..just a human response and request). May God bless you all.

    Thank you!
Indeed, this is serious and very strange situation. Orwellian, IMO….

Yes, His Grace IS sufficient for all circumstances, come what may.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you!

  3. Sacramento just enacted shelter in place. I talked to my buddy in Folsom (a richer community east of Sac) and he said that his Wal-Mart has been sold out of milk for 3 days, and canned good shelves are bare. Local Safeway here in East San Jose is sold out of milk and eggs, getting a shipment tomorrow. I picked up a gallon at my local Wal-Mart two days ago, we only use about 1 gallon per week. 7-11 still has it and I have 2 within a mile of me.

Our school district is handing out free meals. I had the kids go in today and they gave them each a breakfast and lunch. D7 didn’t want her corn dog and S10 didn’t want his cereal so that was my breakfast/lunch. The baby carrots just went into pasta sauce I made. The kids ate their fruit. We don’t “need” the food, but I didn’t see any crowds or lines and they likely throw food away so ill take advatage of it for the kids and eat their leftovers.

Amador County (in the foothills east of Sacramento, The Gold Country) just issued shelter in place though they have no cases yet about 100 people in that small county are being tested.

I’m making an early morning run to Wal-Mart to see…
