A Heroine Of The Faith
Many of you have read Paige’s comments here on the blog for years.
Now you get to see and hear her as well.
Paige was the co-founder ( along with then husband/ pastor Andy) of what would become a CC mega church…a blonde haired force of nature that held the church together when everything could have come unglued.
Andy had the gift of evangelism and the gift of making large messes…
When he fell, her world collapsed around and on her.
She survived it all with faith and heart intact and has shared both with so very many.
She has been the through fires…and even in the fires, she ministered the grace of God to others…including me.
Only heaven knows how many lives this incredible woman has impacted for Jesus…
She was in our valley to attend the memorial service for another of our former pastors and stopped at another church to encourage them…as they continue was was started by her and Andy so many years ago.
We love Paige…as does so much of our valley and beyond.
Love this so much. So great to hear your voice, Paige, and the strong encouragement. Thankful for who you are!
There’s a comment from one of my other heroines of the faith…Sarah and Paige on the same day… 🙂
Paige, great story. I am sure those at The Story were blessed.
What an amazing story. I only wished I could have heard more. Thank you for your testimony, Paige!
Thank you Michael. Kind words. One of my favorite verses is Job 6:14. “what is needed for the suffering is kindness from his/her friends”…. I’m ok now, but life was hell for a very long time.
You know, God’s ways are utterly strange, beyond anything we can imagine.
I also love that oft quoted ‘verse’ of Maya Angelou “People may not remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel”…Thus, the legacy of Andy Green goes on, in larger ways than we know. While for a season, he did a lot of harm, the majority of his life was all about ‘shedding the love of God abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit”.. I have stopped questioning ‘what happened”, and as you wrote earlier today, life is more about worshiping and less about understanding.
Oh how I love this so much. Paige, thank you. That is my favorite verse you read. And yes, we must pick each other up!! So encouraging. I love your heart for the boiler room!!
So frustrated.. Our isp gives us limited something or other, so i have to watch these things after midnight
Paige looks just as i pictured her, tho. ?
For some reason i can’t form a mental picture of Michael…?
Oh, Paige…what wonderful encouragement and a testimony of God’s great grace in your life. I am so grateful for you, for your contribution to this community, and for your role in God’s kingdom. Love to you dear sister!
