Free Saeed
On Wednesdays we remember that a brother languishes in a foreign prison.
We do more than just remember, however…we stand with him by using our social media to advocate for his release.
We ask that you change your Facebook profile picture to his and that you “like” the “Free Saeed” Facebook page and participate in some of the activities that promote his cause.
How sad and telling it is of our spiritual state that a brother in chains for the Gospel is ignored while we debate the merits of a man who broke covenant with his wife and family.
How utterly shameful it is that the same tribe that defends the covenant breaker usually ignores the plight of one of their own who is being faithful unto an uncertain future.
Why have we not seen the kind of sustained pressure from the church and the government that it would require to free this man?
Why?

As I continue to pray for this man’s release, to no apparent avail, I know God is in control and have to wonder if (sadly) it is for God’s purposes this man has not been released. My prayers continue….. Lord have mercy.

Because you obsess MORE over Coy and his failures then pray for all:) What are YOU doing over the Saeed situation??????
Changing your FB picture? Really? What are you 12? SMH!
What have done and continue to do is to try to make sure that this matter stays in the public eye through the various media and help keep people aware and praying.
The only viral social media blitz on Saeeds behalf was started on this blog and through the Facebook page that we helped set up…and now has over 10,000 followers.
Michael is the last guy anyone should complain about not doing anything to try and pressure for Saeed’s release.
The people that read here were incredibly helpful as a group…and Steve was one of the leaders of that effort.
I often ask myself what else we can do…this situation troubles my soul on many levels.
Michael has been running this post for a long time….to remind us to pray and do what we can to aid the freedom of Saeed.
what have you done to help free Saeed?
Daughter, are you asking Anon, or Michael what he has done?
it is easy to sit on your chair/couch and assume that because someone is talking about bc that they are not doing anything else, like we ‘could’ assume that ‘cuz you are abscessing over Michael that You are not doing anything else….but we don’t!!
we assume you have a cause that is near and dear to you that you fight for outside this blog….Michael’s is Mexico and the freeing of Saeed, and the raising of a young son….among many others.
please don’t assume things you know nothing about.
