Loose Ends
I’m still wondering how a shepherd who sees danger to the flock can remain silent and remain a shepherd.
I’m also wondering why every time I ask that question the silent shepherds and their friends call me a wolf, while ignoring the wolf in their midst.
My guess is that it depends on who is being threatened, shepherds or sheep…sheep should silently vote with their hooves, shepherds must be protected at all costs.
Call me an old, ignorant, bigot if you choose, but I don’t think you can transfer to another gender anymore than I can transition into being a barn owl.
I can sit in the barn with a feather in my backside hooting at passers by, but I’m still a guy sitting in a barn acting like an owl.
I’m sure that there is an immense amount of science and studies that I’m not aware of that would make me look like an ignorant jerk and I’m sure that there is probably .0001 % of the population who truly struggle with gender identity.
However, it takes nothing more than common sense and a bent toward decency to know that high school girls and boys shouldn’t share showers.
It doesn’t take a bunch of studies to understand that while we should accommodate that .0001% to a degree, that we shouldn’t do so at the expense and dignity of the 90% plus who agree with what their pants tell them.
Straight people have rights too.
I’ll just come out and say it…the desire to eliminate gender distinctions completely is an attack on the God who made them male and female. It’s a desire to destroy traditional morality that has enables the species to exist in somewhat stable communities because of family and foundational ethics and values.
It’s from the pit of hell and smells like smoke.

Re: the gender baloney, long ago a friend of mine said, regarding this subject, “pull down your pants. I’ll tell you what you are.” Works for me. As a real female who has endured the frailties and issues of ‘the curse’, I find this nonsense insulting at best. This is my clean response. Afterall, I AM a lady. đ

Of course the battle over gender is going to be our daily bread for the foreseeable future. The slippery slope has become a California mudslide and our house is in the ocean. Is there any verification of this story apart from Brietbart? I am always wondering what the “well actually…” part of the story is.
Still we are going to end up in a place that says gender is whatever you decide and frankly probably species will be up for grabs. Lately I feel more carnivorous all the time.
the common sense solution to the problem of someone with a gender identity problem is to … well i’d say to excuse them from participation in gender specific activities … but, at least, provide them a separate accommodation for calls of nature, showers and other locker room activity … “calls of nature” ? they’re not natural anymore đ

I’m more optimistic than you are.
I’m more liberal than most Christians…and I’m sick to death of all the nonsense and political correctness that is nothing more than censorship and the pursuit of strange sexual agendas.
People aren’t going to tolerate it much longer…and thinking liberals should be the first to fight the stupidity.

“-If youâre a boy who shows a picture of your penis to a girl in your class, you have likely violated both federal child pornography laws as well as local sexual harassment laws. If this happens consistently in your school, the school has violated Title IX.
-If youâre a boy who says heâs a girl, the girl must be placed in position to see your penis and testicles. If the school does not allow this, the school has violated Title IX.
-If youâre an adult who sexually touches a child with the consent of the child, you have committed a crime, since children are incapable of consent.

It is true you are more optimistic that I am … I actually believe speaking up for conservative values has become so politically incorrect itself that most people are intimidated to speak out.

The airwaves are full of conservative speech, the internet is full of conservative speech, and so is social media.
We need to look elsewhere for the causes of this.
The only place where I will grant your argument is in overtly Christian speech..which is being crushed like so many grapes.

Watch, you and those of us who speak against every horny teenage boy’s dream of showering with teenager girls will be likened to those in favor of segregation in the South.
Ironically, during my teenage years (I was incredibly NOT raised christian), I and every other horny teenage boy I knew would’ve GLADLY worn a dress around all the time or accepted any kind of label, seriously, it would’ve been a heck of a lot easier than other pranks we pulled.
I think this is the next evolution from porn. Yes I know the boys/their families will claim identity, etc. However, any man who can remember when his hormones kicked in will tell you there’s very little else that goes on in our minds during that time, but curiosity and girls’ physical differences.
I sincerely feel sorry for the harm this will do to girls, their families, and dads who will most certainly be locked-up when they react as I’m sure I would if I had a daughter.
On the hope side (at least for me), I think sometimes evil must be allowed unrestricted space for people to be scared straight – like training a puppy by pushing his nose in his own poop.
I know and am friends with lots of non-believers. NO parents I know will sit still for this.

I personally am appalled that this new age âgender identificationâ is even considered to be in the slightest as a proper method of human rights; and that those rights are controlled specifically by non-christians.
But hey.., “Give unto Caesar that which is Caesarâs.”
If the secular society is in power of determining how these transgender people are to be treated fairly, make them do it appropriately. Let them change how a person is identified by gender at the time of birth.
If the fact regarding your private sexual parts does not identify your sex after you are old enough to decide yourself which sex you want to be, it has no right to be used on a “life long certificate” of your birth identification.
A birth certificate either identifies you or not. You cannot have it both ways.
People who want to change their sex need to have the secular society change the law that identified them as male or female when they were born.
This method would eliminate the God/Religious sector from being used as a homophobic excuse for us intolerant Christians to hurt the transgender wannabe’s LEGALLY and not religiously.

Praying for a speedy recovery for Miss Kitty.
The simple solution would be to get rid of gym class which is an utterly worthless class that schools should not be wasting precious time with anyway. I think it’s ridiculous that students are forced to undress in front of each other full stop. The fact that up until now it’s only been girl undressing in front of other girls and boys undressing in front of other boys does not lessen that travesty. All it does is promote bullying and feelings of inadequacy. And it’s all pointless anyway because schools should be focusing on academics. Physical fitness should not be within their purview. This newest development is only one more demonstration of the inappropriately all-encompassing nature of public schools and how they are unable to limit their scope.

Why can’t they just offer a specific room for the transgendered without impinging on the rights of others? I guess that would end up being a “separate but equal” thing, which wouldn’t work. I’m liberal and I don’t really know enough about the subject to opine except to say it may be a human rights issue,,,for all genders.
