Hello brothers and sisters. I would like to ask you to pray for God’s guidance in my life. A ministry opportunity has presented in my life. I will be interviewing for the position on Tuesday, May 19. I want to serve God in whatever capacity He has for me. Conversely, I do NOT wish to serve anywhere the Lord is not calling me. It’s hard to know sometimes between your own desires and His will. So please just pray He’ll make it very clear to me what path I should take and/or what path I should NOT take. Thanks in advance, friends!

In the Christian religion, hope is not a wish. A wish is not what Christians hope.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

So, hope is the consummation of God’s future promises, which through faith, Christians have present assurance.

On the other hand, a Christian places no faith in a wish. He may have a wish, but if he is wise, he plans as if that wish is a mere fantasy. Let the reader understand.
