Where are all the voices of those who for so long have claimed to be so vocal in their opposition to undocumented immigration because of concern for the human trafficking that sometimes takes place under it? Im still amazed how many in media consider the Epstein case only a conspiracy. It feeds into conspiracy, but there are still so many questions about all of it.
Terry, “She shouldn’t be allowed to cherry pick American democrats only,” but who’s going to stop her? Bondi’s Department of Justice? They want her to do that; they might even have asked her to do that, with the motivation of an offer she can’t refuse? From this point forward, I believe almost nothing that comes out of the Justice Department or the federal government about the Epstein case (and many other things); they have been totally corrupted by Trump-appointed corrupt leadership. The DOJ is now a protection and extortion racket that serves Trump only.
This may seem off-topic, but bare with me.
I accidentally fell into a rabbit hole about 10 years ago and on/off (wasn’t even a preoccupation) didn’t realize until fairly recently its the same exact topic with I believe same repercussions and implications for all us.
It began when I saw the Spotlight movie then due diligence of documentaries about the RC church’s abuse and cover-up. Then, again accidentally, saw a few documentaries of the same in Jewish communities (don’t know why that shocked me). NUMEROUS documentaries and new stories of convictions about our Protestant filth.
Oh, and one of the most gut-wrenching films about a true story in rural Iran where a man found a newer squeeze so manufactured “evidence” of adultery to stone his wife, including with the help of her sons.
All these scenarios eventually evidenced a truth ancient Israel repeatedly mocked, “God is not mocked.”
Obviously its a waste of time anymore to plead for the defenseless (Michael could probably state that principle better), but my point is, what is God going to have to do to the US as what will be obviously righteous judgment.
He will rightly judge those who have mocked biblical values to the detriment of families equally as those who knew the truth, or at least exposed to it and instead of using their God-given excess for charity, chose pimps of power and $ instead, except pretend God is senial and didn’t notice their motives.
Both have mocked God.
Then, how will those of us who never bowed to pimps be singed when judgment falls?
I’m ashamed how often decades ago when I read the OT and felt pitty for Israel for not being a spiritually enlightened as us, and my reasons why.
I can’t beleive what I argued about and how little I cared, and how deaf I was to what God so clearly spoke of and Jesus’ words, in favor of what passes for following Jesus nowadays.

I truly have much sympathy for those when God’s judgment falls, will realize how completely useless their “teaching” was, what complete idolatry God exposes, how blind, naked, etc., they truly are, and how all of this could’ve been avoided!

I think that’s an important question.
I have some thoughts…let me carve out some time and come back…
First, Trump may be the vessel through which judgment falls…we only have a glimpse of how destructive his agenda will be long term.
Next, when God judges a nation, the elect are caught in the tragedy with the heathen…we need to learn to live in exile while we still can…
