A friend of mine is going through a struggle; more specifically, it is his 34yo son Billy who has been stricken with cancers through his whole body, even his brain. Tumors are suddenly visible under his skin. It’s rare and aggressive. In addition to chemo and radiation, he’s on immunotherapy.

It seemingly came out of nowhere and two months ago, he was planning a fall wedding (that was moved up and he got married while still able to stand). Bill/Billy is the sweetest and kindest dude ever, like people the world needs more of. I’ve known him since he was 6. He’s got top care at a good hospital, but this is a waiting game now. Please pray for Billy and his family. He and his dad are Christians, and this is a deep dive into Faith whose outcome is….

Thanks for the Palm Sunday verses.

Billy passed away peacefully this morning, but the family got to say goodbye. I told his dad that I’d enlisted prayers from members on a Christian Blog last night. His dad said it was better that he went quickly instead of suffering from cancers throughout his body and organs. The cancers were all over his body causing a lot of pain. When his dad told me last week that tumors were presenting under his skin visibly… *shudder*

This was the mercy: to be called home. His dad said, “the quickness was merciful.”

Minus 1 Billy for the world, plus 1 for heaven.

    Thank you everyone.

I guess this is a praise. You all helped me pray this one through. I am transitioning from one program to another tomorrow, and will not be on the streets as a result. I’m excited to see what happens! It’s a whole new world without my wife at my side, and there is a ton of fear involved.

  12. Michael says:

I’m excited for you…I’d be a bit afraid myself.
    We’ll keep on praying…
