Prayer & Praise
May the blessing of light be on you – light without and light within.
May the blessed sunlight shine on you like a great peat fire,
so that stranger and friend may come and warm himself at it.
And may light shine out of the two eyes of you,
like a candle set in the window of a house,
bidding the wanderer come in out of the storm.
And may the blessing of the rain be on you,
may it beat upon your Spirit and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there a shining pool where the blue of Heaven shines,
and sometimes a star.
And may the blessing of the earth be on you,
soft under your feet as you pass along the roads,
soft under you as you lie out on it, tired at the end of day;
and may it rest easy over you when, at last, you lie out under it.
May it rest so lightly over you that your soul may be out from under it quickly; up and off and on its way to God.
And now may the Lord bless you, and bless you kindly. Amen.

Dusty, thank you for your continuing prayers. My sister is doing ok–she’s working half days and getting radiation treatments and oral chemotherapy daily. She’s tough. In 3 weeks, she starts 6 months of IV chemotherapy.
Hi Dusty and Linnea. Yes, a beautiful Scottish blessing…love it. Joining in prayer tonight for all mentioned.

praying with this morning
prayer also continues for Nonnie’s husband, trusting things are better – Lord give the lady strength for her days
Thank you, Dusty. Good to see you too!
Thank you for your prayers Dusty.
My mother is pretty much the same but now she’s having trouble sleeping. She’s very down as there’s still no answers on why she can’t write or walk on her own. Please pray for a breakthrough so we know what’s going on.
My wife saw her rheumatologist today and the results of her MRI wasn’t good. It revealed the meniscus in each knee is torn and there is no longer any cartilage remaining. One of the knees has a fluid buildup. Her red blood platelets are low so the doctor isn’t going to try and drain her knee. He also wants her to start physical therapy for her back.
She’s dealt with R.A. for over 40 years and it’s her outlook and determination that has brought her this far by the grace of God. She refuses to stop working although she is going to ask for an extra day off each week. I don’t know if that’s doable but she wants to try. Please pray for God’s will to be done. Thank you.
praying as i read here this morning… so many brave souls, so much to endure on our journeys home… praying for Mrs. Erunner
God sees, He knows and He feels every pain of every saint – not a platitudinous observation – we are far more important in what is playing out here on this earth than we can see… i strongly believe this to be true…
not too many soldiers walk the battlefield with their uniforms clean and pressed…
few saints live in upscale homes with 2 or more luxury cars in the garage, either… those who do should be embarrassed and maybe a little concerned? … IMHO 🙂
