Prayer & Praise

thumbnail.aspxTruth-telling,

wind-blowing,

life-giving spirit-

we present ourselves now for our instruction and guidance;

breathe your truth among us,

breathe your truth of deep Friday loss,

your truth of awesome Sunday joy.

Breathe your story of death and life that our story may be submitted to your will for life.

We pray in the name of Jesus risen to new life-and him crucified.

    I always hate asking, but, maybe that is part of the lesson. Car trouble and back trouble. Both are pretty bad. But thanks for praying, if you do.

    Father we lift up the needs of your daughter. We know you hear her cries and we know you care. We ask you to meet her every need, through Christ our Lord. Amen

    My brother is going in for emergency back surgery tonight. Numb legs, Charlie horses in hamstrings. Nerve pressure is so bad he looks like he is special needs or has MS while walking.

    Medi-cal docs blew off his cortisone shot requests and referrals. ER did nothing and told him to wait for his primary. Trimming some bone away to relieve pressure and this is the no big deal surgery. He will be getting a 2-3 level fusion in a few months and that is the big one. It is an emergency surgery to prevent permanent damage to his nerves and spinal chord. Checking in by 12 tonight PST. Surgery sometime tomorrow.

    Pray for Bo, his nick name I gave him as a toddler because I couldn’t pronounce his real name which starts with a P. Don’t ask me I don’t know why either. 😉

  11. Nonnie says:

    Praying Bo’s surgery relieves his pain and brings healing.
