My backyard…..thank God. Just step out the back door. Have a blessed time my dear.
Coastal areas….Lake Superior…Tybee Island…Northern Florida
I think I need to find one.
I am too busy – God has to catch me on the run. He can restore and refuel me like the Air Force tankers do refueling the fighter jets in flight.
And I am happy with that.
I have a nice park that’s close to my apartment. It’s a nice place to go read and walk.
“Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket.”
God bless and refresh you , my friend.
Ahhhh! Enjoy! My place is Maroon Bells in Colorado
hope you come back relaxed and refreshed – hope you have an enjoyable time.
God seems to meet me in unusual places… Like rebuilding stone walls in chapel cellars… And positioning landscape boulders…. Working with uncut stones … There must be something to that as I’ve read of Gods instruction in the OT to use uncut stones…
Also sacred retreats of walks through forests and trails through fields. An exceptional one is Le Chemin de St Jaque… A pilgrimage from a variety of several different starting points in France down along the coast of Spain to the sea…with overnights in extraordinary monasteries and gites…
What a blessing to walk for days and imagine more realistically what life was like for the prophets and disciples who walked from town to town while conversing along the way
Michael~
Praying you have a blessed time
May God meet you there
Grant you peace and abundance of refreshment
Trey got really sick and we had to come home last night..so, I’ll try to regroup right here.
So sorry. Hope Trey is feeling better now.
Thanks, J.U.
He’s feeling a bit better, but still pretty weak.
I was going to have a day away like you, walking in the hills, but I wasn’t that well so it was just sitting the park for a few hours.
