Terry Jones Blasts GFA
Warren Throckmorton has the story…
According to Jones, the problems go back to 1993…
“When I returned to the States I met personally with KP in his office and told him he was in danger of self deception. He said, “If you have the money you have the power.” He was completely defiant and determined to continue in deception.”
Then there is this;
“Board members, whom I personally know, have resigned because they know KP has deliberately deceived people encouraging them to give for various benevolent causes while lining the Believers Church coffers with mega millions.”
 The question before the house is why those board members haven’t spoken up themselves if this is true…I think I’ve already answered that question for you…
Read through Warren T’s article and the letter posted which was an overview of the early history of K.P. and GFA. Early on was a mention of a meeting that took place with the author of the letter, K.P. and Chuck Smith. No specified year, which leads me to wondering:
Who learned the ropes from whom: KP or Chuck Smith?
When did CC change up in treating the body of Christ as “giving units,” dispensable, and blatant disregard for their safety and well-being?
Or is this just a case of birds flocking together? They just naturally gravitated towards one another. Was it rotten from the very get go—from the root on up? It would be interesting to trace or to do a timeline on GFA and CC (Chuck Smith) and the structuring of each, to see if they parallel one another. There is a saying: Water seeks its own level.
Uriah, my thoughts exactly. I’ve been saying they are structured on the same model.
