Update on Seth Fong

“Last night they moved Seth (and Sam) out of intensive care to a regular hospital room with a bathroom and shower and privacy! Sam’s enjoying the peace of the room, but they may come home tomorrow (Thursday) if all goes well! Oh Happy Day!” Praise God!!! Thank you for all of your prayers!

Wow, we’re on phoenixpreacher.net!
We’re still waiting to be released from the hospital. Before they will release us, Seth has to be able to swallow his six medications and not get sick from any of them. He is weaned from his narcotic pain med, but they have him on methadone to help him with the pain.
We will be weaning him off the methadone slowly over a three week period.
Once we get him home, it will be both scary and easier to care for him. We still have to go back at some point and have his muscle wall sewn back up. Right now, his eternal organs are covered by skin. Therefore, he is vulnerable to injury if struck in the belly area.
Thank you for all of your prayers and loving posts. This family is a great one. I’m so blessed to be a part of it.

Oden posted a beautiful photo of Seth sleeping on Facebook … it’s adorable. It speaks volumes … Seth looks wonderful. The only words Oden posted were … “Seth is home.” 🙂
