A Poem From A Potters Field Survivor
To trade one wrong for another brings about great injustice.
You do not have the right to nullify abusive actions by feeding children in other countries.
If you believed what you preach you would know with no uncertainty that God does not need your help.
Let me say it again:
The God you say is so big,
so capable of doing all things,
is the same God you put in a box.
You act as if He needs your means to accomplish His work.
He does not.
Meanwhile, you failed to take care of those who were entrusted to you.
We were used.
We were broken down in every way.
We were manipulated and lied to.
But you act as if that was acceptable
because the kids received a meal.
Tell me how that is okay.
You freely trade one group of humans’ worth for another
As if we aren’t all the children of God.
They are physically hungry, maybe so.
But we were famished spiritually
We were parched emotionally.
The truth of how we were treated is being neglected.
We are being abandoned.
We are ignored in our suffering.
Dear leadership of PFM,
Dear supporters of PFM,
Who put you up on a pedestal-
Who made you as God to choose
which children to feed
And which deserve to starve?
Gabby Darmetko
This is excellent. Well done, Gabby!
May our Lord Jesus nourish you and heal your suffering as only He can.
Such a beautiful location. Very sad another mess that was supported by Calvary. Here’s a hint don’t let ministry’s come to your church asking for support if you have not investigated said ministry thoroughly.
Yes, Lord, what JoelG said
I have experienced seeing how my daughter and two granddaughters suffered from being part of PFM. And it broke my heart. They were dedicated, trusting in the leadership, and then discovered they were being manipulated and used. Shame on those responsible for causing all this heartache for these beautiful young men and women. I pray that they did not lose their trust in our God and have gone on with their lives to follow the will of Him. I am so proud of my girls and they way they have handled this disaster. God bless
My heart continues to break and I cry out to The LORD daily for my dear friends and brothers and sisters in Christ who are hurting so badly from these sick peoples. Gabby, you are precious and so loved by our Savior. I pray that you find comfort and healing in His Loving Arms.
Also know Gabby, that you are not abandoned. Please know that there are a group of us that are working diligently to do something about all of this. We care and love you very, very much. I feel that I carry your pain every day.
