I was going to say, “and avoid stress,” but that would necessitate not speaking a lot of people/leaders in the church I know of.
“Pastor” jack hibbs seems like his calling is the exact opposite of “let not your heart be troubled.”
May peace envelop your heart…and then teach the church.

‘Pastors’ are a-dime-o’-dozen, but Michael is rare.
Count me in for praying on his behalf too.

Thanks to all for the support and prayers.

To make a long story short…been suffering with severe sciatica for a month…finally went to the ER Saturday…they wouldn’t treat it.
Saw GP yesterday and he ordered pictures and prescribed me prednisone and Vicodin.
I’ve been up since Monday morning…the prednisone whacked me …not a second of sleep.
I wouldn’t have slept anyway because I forgot I was allergic to Vicodin and am now a contestant in Olympic projectile vomiting.
I’m ok…got some of the pictures back and they’re not encouraging…but we’ll be ok when I get some rest and can walk normally again.

  25. Captain Kevin says:

Oh man…Vicodin! Do you know if you’re allergic to Tramadol? It’s what my pain dr. prescribes for my back, neck and leg pain. Not as strong as Vicodin, but better than nothing.

  26. Michael says:

    CK,

They are going to go through the ER records and figure out which ones I’m allergic to.
For some reason, this is scarier to me than my heart issues…not sure how people with chronic pain function in life…

  27. Alan says:

    Michael

We all hate that you are suffering and petition our merciful LORD to bring these things to a swift conclusion,
