Good words today….
“It’s about taking time to touch people where I live, who need to see some representation of Christ in their lives. And we can do that. Sometimes we can do that just by showing up.”
This is golden.
And I needed to hear this today.
Thank you, Owen!
We are left with the impression that Trump is a scoundrel and our only other choice is that virtuous woman Hillary — Wow, what was left unsaid was outrageous. There is no candidate that qualifies according to your requirements for a president. So, hopefully you’ll stick to your scruples and not vote — or write in someone like Franklin Graham.
Yesterday we visited with a couple who live in a large university city in Italy. As we shared our stories with one another it became clear they were concerned with the fact that many in their church were only there for 3-6 months and then move on (because their school term is over). I tried to encourage them that although they were not able to do their ” missions'” typical discipleship course with them that the way they live out their faith in Christ, they way they treat one another as husband and wife, the way they live and love God’s word…. This will go with their students as much or more than any course out of a book.
BTW Michael, it was good to hear Chester offering his input on your broadcast. I’d be interested to know of his political leanings… 😉
All my animals agree with me politically.
I buy the food. 🙂
Ah, so their God is their stomach. Got it! 🙂
