E-Fest 2010
This is the information I have regarding E-Fest. Since the .com went down I lost the information we had and had to reconstruct it the best I could. Right now June 5th is the date on the table. The list of people is the best I could come up with and may not be accurate. Please update if you could and I’ll see about getting an article up later this coming week.

Open dates in June…. 5th and 12th.
Open dates in July…. 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st.
Other possible dates.
May 15th and 22nd.

Dread? Really? that’s cool, I really hope Debbie is having a good week, and I am feeling good at the same time — any date is the same or us.
I am still unsure about the SPC, but if I come , I’ll fly down earlier for E-fest if it is on the 5th of June. I am doubtful though, and at a place where I am having to live week by week.

What city do we fly into?
dusty, John Wayne airport is very close by to Poiema. Straight shot down the freeway. The easiest to fly into is Long Beach airport as it’s very small and is pretty close to Poiema as well and is off the freeway in the other direction. Then there’s LAX which is again off the same freeway (405) but a longer drive. I imagine availability and where you will be staying would influence your choice. Or…… you could fly into O’Hare and drive in from Chicago!!

looks like we may be able to attend…pending the flight cost. So far I have anywhere from $128 – $3006 lol … will keep you posted.

I’ve been thinking about you guys Sarah. We’re seeing a lot of news on what has taken place and then to read about how your family has suffered during this time makes it personal. It looks so devastating and I can’t begin to comprehend what it’s like to be there.
I was so hoping you guys could attend. Praying for you.

Thanks, E. I was reading a list tonight of the people who have died. They found another elderly woman in the condos where my in-laws lived. Another couple from there died in their car when it was swept away as they attempted to flee: “Joseph Formosa, 88, and wife Bessie, 78 were found Sunday in a vehicle that was upside down in standing water on Sawyer Brown Road. They attempted to drive across a flooded roadway when their vehicle swept away.”
Then I saw this: “A woman was found dead in her home on Hummingbird Drive. ”
That was Steve’s aunt.
I think tonight the grief is settling more deeply now that the urgent has been pushed aside.
Sarah, I’ve been struggling a bit with so much bad news lately on various fronts. It’s terrible that the elderly would die in such a fashion. I have this notion they should die a peaceful death as opposed to what you describe. These are things that cause me to ask “why?”
I’m sorry for what you guys have suffered through and pray God would give you what you will need to move forward.
