Huge thanks to EricL for faithfully gathering links to serve…support him at top right!
We got to watch as a robin built a nest in the tree near our window….it was funny in that my husband had just hung a home made bird house in the same tree for me….took them both about the same amount of time to make the ‘houses’. 🙂
now we wait to see the family of robins begin. how fun!
I really enjoyed the foot washing link….the 18 month old washing mommy’s feet was so touching…
5 ?s for the IoT…..this is a scary thing….soon we will have no security ( too much security in some areas) or privacy.
The headline on the Driscoll link seems inaccurate. The victim card is not new.
Pineapple Head @4, you are right about that. Blame my tiredness for picking that headline Monday night. Maybe it should have been “Driscoll finds new audience for his victim act.” Frankly, I’m tired of hearing of him, but thought I should send Michael something since Driscoll is working hard to get a new audience.
Hi Eric, no worries! Thanks for all you do. Didn’t mean to sound like a critic.
From “I was betrayed by the church”:
“Betrayal violates trust. It breaks something sacred, a promise spoken or unspoken to protect the other, to support the other, to love and uplift the other. This trust can be violated in both big and small ways. But it always leaves the betrayed feeling vulnerable, raw, exposed. And often the hurt is deep because the relationship is not what we believed it to be. We may have been investing all of ourselves, only to discover that a relationship we believed to be reciprocal, really wasn’t.”
Bullseye.
