    Davis’ article on loyalty is spot on…. Loyal vs faithful, she defines them perfectly

    The MS state flag was adopted at the height of Jim Crow in 1894 as a big middle finger to blacks to remind that while they are not slaves, they are still 2nd Class citizens and that they should not get too uppity. It is not surprising that there is push now to have it changed. Ironically this latest push comes from the MS Covention of the SBC, an organization that specifically broke away because of its support for slavery. Better late than never I guess.
