Christian Parents Who Pray.. and Collateral Damage of Dobson-
I think that parents who let their kids die without medical treatment (when it is available) should be monitored by social workers until their children are grown and can make their own medical decisions. These parents will do it again because their cult will insist that they are not in good standing with them or with God unless they pray and refuse medical advice.
Dobson-he had some good ideas, but I thought he was whacked when I read the introduction to “The Strong-Willed Child.” Anyone who beats their dog into submission is cruel…period. Children are not little animals, and should not be treated as such. I don’t think spanking is necessarily wrong, but there are other child-raising strategies that are equally as good. And, Proverbs 22:6 doesn’t guarantee a perfect child..it’s a principle that good training may (emphasis on may) result in a successful adult child.
Charlie Kirk-I wonder when the rioting will start…I hope not. I didn’t like the guy at all, but murder is not a way to deal with our differences.
