The only unusual part of this is how aggressively Laurie and Harvest are responding…this is going to get ugly if it goes to trial.

perhaps it will be the loss of loot that brings a sense of perspective and repentance to the CC brand. There appears to be a true lack of compassion for the harm their own ‘missionaries’ perpetrated on these children and complete lack of awareness of the stain and stench on the gospel and Church. Their approach appears to be ‘raise the drawbridge, send the archers to the walls, and start boiling the oil…’
This is an example of the underlying problems with churches and many organizations in general. The idea was good but the execution allowed individuals to use the lack of oversight to their
advantage.
The problem directly with CC type leadership is they teach a perverted idea about the “anointing” of leadership and put fear into others about question/challenging them.
In the world it’s even worse and becomes Mafia like threats to health and family.
Here’s a good example where people wanted to help feed others and then the sharks circled.

My point is there is a never ending supply of liars and cheats. Some may have even started with the best of intentions, however we know what road is paved with those.
