Mac’s in the Ministry? noticed this title and wonder if it would be useful for others, ie i am so lazy when it comes to buckling down and learning what my Mac could do … writing my grandparents’ story would be better formatted incorporating documents, pictures etc and less tedious – more fun for me… better than ‘Dummies” books?

    Em,

It will probably not be of much use to you because it talks about the tools that newer Macs have built in.

Michael, that’s my dilemma right now – my old Mac is a fine word processor – if it goes out on me, i’m backing up with an external hard drive… just need an excuse to spend money, mebbe 😉 and i sure don’t need to presentation capabilities etc – thanks for the input

    Em,

If you decide to buy a new one get a hold of me first and I’ll show you the least expensive way to do so.

Michael, thanks, i’ll remember that as i can’t surf the web with the old Mac now and typing on this cute little netbook thingie is annoying at best

Michael, Are you very far into Sailhammer’s book? I just got “The Penteteuch as Narrative” by Sailhammer as a gift but haven’t started yet. Looking at it enthuses me.

    Michael-

Let us know if you become a Historical Creationist after reading Sailhamer 😉

By the way, if you see this, I would be interested in knowing the the right way to go about getting a Mac, that you metioned on another thread. You said to contact you…

Please e-mail me if you get a chance. You have my e-mail, or if lost, you can use pleasenote8@gmail.com

    Thanks!
