Was the church system hijacked right after the apostles passed? Should we bypass 1900 years of additions and subtractions and just do what the church in the New Testament did? Did the Holy Spirit oversee the evolution of the faith as seen in history or did ambitious men fulfill the parable of the buzzards in the mustard tree?
this web browser won’t let me watch the above, so
i’m thinking that the football game tomorrow could be life-threatening for some – having experience 0 degrees myself, inhaling that cold, cold air is dangerous… is it alright to pray for all those who are there, saints and sinners alike? dunno
For any pastor who has plans tomorrow to tell his congregation how to be better Christians, may I suggest in the words of my good friend Daniel Emery Price
“Pastors, tomorrow don’t send people out with things to do on their shoulders. Send them out on the shoulders of the One who did it all.”

MLD,
That is the best quote I’ve read today. Unless you warn me off, that’s going on Facebook in 5 minutes.
My teaching today:

Gonna watch that game tomorrow.
Been in cold air Em and you are so right, it literally burns your lungs.
If your running your breathing goes up and thus exposes you to that awful “freezer burn.”
Those guys are going to remember this game for sure.
There will be kerosene heaters around to warm wide areas along with the propane radiator type.
The benches are also heated for the players.
Surfer51,
I think the field/turf is also heated. May we not experience another “Ice Bowl” malfunction!
And…
GO VIKES!
Anyone here ever experienced -40 degrees? I have. 1996 in Minnesota. Very painful. Could barely get car started. Yuck.
Good old fashion Minnesota Vikings football.Yes I’m rooting for the Vikings.
anyone who watched the Hawks Vikings game today now has proof of God … and the devil 🙂
Phew…an unbelievable outstanding game!
Real close.
Vikings playoff woes continue…
1. 1998
2. 41-Doughnut
3. Walsh misses
Ugh…
When I see Dan from Georgia I think of Jake from State Farm. 🙂
???
MLD watches too much TV, Dan 🙂
(me too, i guess – it’s a last year commercial)
Ahhhh….
