A thought or two…
I’ve seen many dispensationalist pastors applauding Trump as he gives Europe to the Russians.
I haven’t heard a peep from the same about the shameless video he posted that included a golden statue of himself…
I find this…odd.
Shouldn’t this fit a “prophecy update”?
There is a significant part of the population that truly believes that “the man” or “they “or “them” have conspired to keep them down…but their personal choices evidently had nothing to do with their station in life.
Trump was going to right these offenses against them.
So when thousands of government workers lose their jobs, they are cheered that somebody who may be doing better than themselves is hurt.
They make ludicrous explanations for this…the workers were lazy, corrupt, or maybe even dead…in reality, they know nothing about these jobs or how accountable each employee is.
They repeat some trash until they believe it and it is a comfort to their miserable souls.
They claim Christ…I suspect He is a bit circumspect about that claim…
Those same pastors should be applauding Trump as the anti-christ.
Again, I am completely flummoxed, What do they (fundagelicals) see in that man? (Trump)
As Americans we aren’t familiar with this situation. For us its always been about leaders battling over policy. This time is very different. We have a leader consolidating all power to himself. A month in and he jokes about being king, a monarch. Oh, of course he’s kidding. Having his head carved into Mount Rushmore… that’s an actual bill in process, by the way. Just kidding though. I mean, not kidding about Rushmore. Dictator for a day he said… Kidding! – Gotcha! Vote for me now and you’ll never have to again! Of course he wasn’t talking about… he was kidding, right? Right?
Nothing is off limits to the Tasmanian devils running this regime.
Watch out because Musk is already attacking Social Security and calling it a Ponzi scheme. They’ve already cut 7,000 SS staff. There’s the setup.
If President Musk and his assistant Donald Trump don’t back off from Social Security, it will be the end of the Republican Party.
The Party big whigs know this and are scrambling for damage control. They have awakened a sleeping giant (seniors).
Republican Party is already dead. They simply don’t have the decency to lie down.
Too many seniors are too set in their maga ways they won’t rouse until the bank sends them notices that the checking account is overdrawn due to SS checks not auto-depositing.
The Democratic Party will not be able to do much to stop the train from derailing. ‘We the people’ will have to step up and be heard, not in voting, but in utilizing our rights to free speech and freedom to assemble. Let’s pray it doesn’t come to utilizing our second amendment rights.
On the other hand, the realities of our citizenship in the Kingdom of God vs. the kingdom of man should be coming into sharper focus. Thy Kingdom come…

The GOP has become a full-blown MAGA/Trump cult and subverted by Putin (as Liz Cheney said it is Putin wing of the GOP). The GOP of Reagan stood up to the evil empire. Now the current GOPa and their leasers would rather get down on their knees for multiple reasons to thugs like Putin and Orban. Maybe if they came up for air once in a while, they would get a clue.

This is all an interesting shift in political positions. Our son attended a CC Bible college in Europe many years ago, and he told me that the prevailing view he heard from European Christians of the ten-nation confederation found in the book of Revelation was that it referred to the United States. Perhaps they saw something about us that we have yet to see ourselves.
And yes, the Republican party is dead. There are no leaders, just obsequious mongering who have sold their birthright for a bowl of beans.
