Tuesday I have a dental appointment. I’m going to need God’s enabling to do this. This is the one area of my anxiety I have tried to avoid for maybe three years. I need His grace. I need His mercy. He’s seen me through a lot recently yet this is the one area I have been too terrified to face. I’m scared. I want to believe good things will result but right now my fear is so strong. I would covet your prayers for Tuesday and beyond as my teeth and gums are a mess. Thank you.

Please continue to pray for my husband who has shingles in his left eye and face. He is still in a lot of pain. I am taking him to the eye hospital again tomorrow. Thank you, friends.

We’re doing our backpack event tonight.
    Could use some prayer.

  10. Em ... again says:

praying – God bless the “packers” 🙂

  11. London says:

Thanks. We had 152 of them. 😮 might have had more except there was some kind of horrible traffic issues going on, and it was raining.
We put together 1,023 backpacks tonight with only one little hitch of running out of an item due to an issue with ordering.

This year was particularly stressful for me because it was the biggest ever, I’m working really hard on letting others plan/participate instead of doing it all myself in 1/2 the time, and my nephew and his buddy were in town on vacation last week. All that makes it hard to get time to think and to get a plan in my head. Hence the request for prayer.

Thank you to any of you that took the time to pray for us.

My good friend Hal came with me to my dental appointment today for my support. I ended up getting X-rays done for my entire mouth and then they did a deep cleaning on my lower teeth.

I was really having issues when they first took out my partial but by the end of the appointment I was totally comfortable with it out of my mouth.

The dentist is really good and she knows her stuff. The plan is to pull several teeth and to create new partials for the upper and lower teeth. Next week I go in for deep cleaning for my top teeth and impressions.

I can’t begin to express my gratitude for any prayers that were said on my behalf. If you would keep me in prayer for next week also.

Sitting at ER with my mom. She woke up super dizzy, vomiting, weakness. Her blood supers are high. ER is now doing CT on her head.

I’m thinking it’s just the high blood sugars, but prayers appreciated anyway.

  14. Michael says:

    Praying, London…

  15. London says:

    Thanks.
    They are ruling out stroke.

  16. Em ... again says:

until you’ve taken care of an aging parent, you don’t realize (i didn’t) what a stress filled challenge it can be – no matter how dear and accommodating they try to be – pray for London and her mom, indeed

  17. Nonnie says:

    Praying for your mama, London.

  18. London says:

    Thanks Em.
It was so weird. She was fine one minute, not fine the next.

  19. London says:

    No stroke. Yay.
Not sure what is going on but they ruled that out.
