What a wonderful prayer. It works as well today as it did a mere several decades after the death of our Lord. Thank you for sharing it.

    Psalm 23
We are just the sheep of His pasture.

    We need our Shepherd.

My younger and only sister has been diagnosed with late stage colon cancer. She and her husband have twin boys, age 9, and many difficulties in life. Would you pray that God would restore her health and that she and her family have the strength and resources to get through this?

Another person close to me had an auto accident two nights ago– a homeless woman, dressed in black, high on something and pushing a grocery cart down an unlit section of a 2 way street steered her cart in front of my friend’s vehicle, with only a few feet for the driver to react, and was hit. She was moving after the accident, but the paramedics were unable to determine what she was on and had difficulty deciding on a medication to stabilize her. She was transported to the hospital. Would you pray for that woman? She had “devil horns” tattooed on the sides of her forehead. Please pray that she would receiver, come to know the Lord, and be made whole physically and spiritually. Would you also pray for my friend?

Totally stupid, but could use some prayer that we find a storage space that is willing to donate a unit.
We have had one for a few years. Run by Christian family who said we could use it as long as we needed.
Then they sold business. New place let us stay for 6 months or so. Called today and said they are no longer allowing any non-profits so we have till middle of next month to move or pay.
The amount they want us to pay is basically what we now spend on school supplies every year because we are able to store things people donate which offsets the cost.
Please pray this gets worked out for us so we can continue doing what we do.

  8. Michael says:

    London,

That’s not stupid…you do a great work for children.
    May God hear our prayer.

  9. Michael says:

May God have mercy on Linnea’s sister and friend…

  10. Linnea says:

London…praying for great, accessible, free storage…I’ll start asking around, too

Thank you all for your prayers for my sister– she has 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments ahead of her, followed by 6 months of once a week chemotherapy. It’s going t be a long haul…
