praying for the above today….Father remember Your mercy! Have You forgotten us? We need You. We need Your healing power. We need Your balm of Gilead. We need healing. Our hearts bleed in pain over our infirmities our losses and our hurt. Please hear us as we cry out for mercy! send Your angels to comfort the inconsolable. Remember your mercy.

  3. John 20:29 says:

    Amen, dusty, amen

it was this past week i think that Michael noted that God’s attributes do not contradict each other and that is hard to get my mind around…
However, this morning i was reading about Adam’s (& Eve’s) disobedience – God instructed them to not eat of that one tree’s fruit – but they listened to another voice that advised them that it would be to their benefit to go ahead eat it – and they ate… Now God’s absolute righteousness demanded absolute justice, but God’s powerful (absolute) love found a way to reconcile the two – to overcome the sin and the judgement of it that His righteousness demanded… but it would take time (perfect omniscience, perhaps?)…

maybe, what tests our Faith today is God’s timing? 🙂

I thank God for the change in the weather. It was just 102F today, and at 1120PM, i just felt the sea breeze. I have a genetic condition where I have no sweat glands. Hot weather is uncomfortable at best and potentially deadly at worst. I spent less than ten minutes outside in the shade yesterday in 110F weather and my temp spiked to 101.2F. I thank God for my A.C. working today because it was acting up yesterday (85F in my house, I had to cycle it a few times before it started working).
