Prayer & Praise
Almighty God, as I cross the threshold of this day I commit myself, soul, body, affairs, friends, to Thy care.
Watch over, keep, guide, direct, sanctify, bless me.
Incline my heart to thy ways.
Mould me wholly into the image of Jesus, as a potter forms clay.
May my lips be a well-tuned harp to sound Thy praise.
Let those around see me living by Thy Spirit, trampling the world underfoot, unconformed to lying vanities, transformed by a renewed mind, clad in the entire armour of God, shining as a never- dimmed light, showing holiness in all my doings.
Let no evil this day soil my thoughts, words, hands.
May I travel miry paths with a life pure from spot or stain.
In needful transactions let my affection be in heaven, and my love soar upwards in flames of fire, my gaze fixed on unseen things, my eyes open to the emptiness, fragility, mockery of earth and its vanities.
May I view all things in the mirror of eternity, waiting for the coming of my Lord, listening for the last trumpet call, hastening unto the new heaven and earth.
Order this day all my communications according to Thy wisdom, and to the gain of mutual good.
Forbid that I should not be profited or made profitable.
May I speak each word as if my last word, and walk each step as my final one.
If my life should end today, let this be my best day.

“People who know their God are before anything else people who pray, and the first point where their zeal and energy for God’s glory come to expression is in their prayers.”

Unspoken request …..also stil troubled with ghosts of the past…
Praying, Dusty…
Praying for you Dusty..
Praying
“Prayer is a command of God, and is to be practiced both in public and in private; yes, such a command brings those that have the spirit of prayer, into great intimacy with God; and the prevailing prayer, will receive great things from God, both for the person that prayed, and for those that are prayed for. Prayer opens the heart of God, and is a means by which the empty soul is filled. By prayer the Christian can open his heart to God, as to a friend, and obtain fresh testimony of God’s friendship to him.”
Bunyan, John (2011-11-22). Prayer (Annotated) (Vintage Puritan) (Kindle Locations 11-14). GLH Publishing. Kindle Edition.
Praying with you and for you, Dusty. Trusting with you that God is able.
“Prayer is a command of God, and is to be practiced both in public….”
Thusly, Lord we lift Dusty up to You (As Steve would say, “in community”) asking for Your favor and blessings. May Your uplifting Holy Spirit manifest where Dusty is present. While we know not the needs we do know that in Your great omniscient and unlimited understanding and knowledge we can trust You to be a very present help in time of need for Dusty. As Dusty clings to, relys upon and trust in You, we know all things will work out in Your perfectionate plans and purposes.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen
